Terms of Service

These Terms govern access to MessyPoly, a private alpha service for optimizing static GLB files. By creating an account, uploading a file, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts

You are responsible for the email address and password used with your account. You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials confidential. MessyPoly may suspend or terminate access for abuse, security risk, unpaid billing, or violation of these Terms.

2. Uploaded Content

You keep ownership of the files you upload and outputs generated from those files. You grant MessyPoly the limited right to process, store, render, and transmit those files as needed to operate the service, debug failures, enforce quotas, and provide downloads.

You must not upload files that you do not have the right to use, files that violate another person's rights, malware, illegal content, or content intended to disrupt the service.

3. Service Limits

MessyPoly is an alpha product. Quotas, file-size limits, retention windows, output quality, and availability may change as the product is developed. The service is designed for static GLB assets and does not guarantee support for every model, rig, material, animation, or scene.

4. Billing

Paid subscriptions and credit packs are processed by Stripe. MessyPoly does not store card numbers. Subscription access and quota resets are driven by Stripe billing events. Credit packs are non-expiring generation credits unless required otherwise by applicable law.

Subscription cancellations, payment-method updates, and invoices are handled through Stripe's hosted billing portal. Fees are charged in advance unless stated otherwise at checkout.

5. Refunds

If a paid charge was made in error, contact support@messypoly.com. Refund decisions are handled case by case. A refund may reduce or remove the associated subscription access or credit balance.

6. Acceptable Use

• Do not attempt to bypass quotas, rate limits, authentication, or billing controls.
• Do not probe, scan, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or attack the service.
• Do not use MessyPoly to process content that is unlawful or infringes rights.
• Do not share access in a way that creates abuse or security risk.

7. Availability and Output

MessyPoly is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that every upload will produce a usable output, that output will be lossless, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MessyPoly is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and, when appropriate, notifying account holders.
